- ★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆Bad experience. Delayed approval of new mortgage about 7-8 days due to an error on THEIR 3rd party's credit reporting (obvious error). I had my copies of credit report (all big 3 bureaus) and 5 years payment history on current mortgage with perfect credit. Nearly lost my new home deal, and got the "sorry, you just have credit problems, its going to cost you". False, I don't. Went to Guild Mortgage in Arlington, and had an approval in 48 hours, closed in 4 days. Quicken loans was also great to us. Their underwriters are over-stringent, or just arrogant. Avoid Guardian, red flags everywhere.By tednugentlives, March 14, 2017
